Listening is where learning begins.
Our role as educators

Teachers, listeners, collaborators, and co-researchers.

In a Reggio Emilia–inspired school, teaching begins with listening. Our educators observe children’s ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and design experiences that invite deeper exploration.

Just as importantly, they build genuine partnerships with families—so every child can feel known, secure, capable, and ready to wonder.

01Listen

We notice children’s words, gestures, interests, and questions.

02Observe

We make learning visible and use it to guide what comes next.

03Collaborate

Children, teachers, and families build understanding together.

04Wonder

We protect the curiosity that makes meaningful learning possible.

The people behind the learning

Meet the Orchard Atelier teaching team.

Each educator brings a different story and area of experience, united by a shared respect for children and their capacity to learn.
